deima's mini balaclava
a quick an cute balaclava pattern to make sure your little loves one is nice and warm on both neck and ears. it's knit from the bottom and up, in rib and garter stitches with deacreases in the back and a neat I-cord around the opening.
yarn: 1 strand of double soft merino from knitting for olive and 1 strand of tynn silkmohair from sandnes

1 strand of carpe diem from lang and 1 strand kidsilk from drops (shown in 0033 carpe diem and 08 kidsilk)
suggested needles: 4,5 mm (US 7) and 6 mm (US 10) in 60 or 80 cm circular needles
gauge: 13 sts x 16 rows in garter sts = 10 cm x 10 cm with needle 6, and 18 sts on 10 cm in rib, with needle size 4,5
sizes: 6-12 (18-2) 3-4 (5-6)
yarn total: 1 skein of dsa and 1 skein silk mohair or 2 skeins of carpe diem og 1 skein kidsilk from Drops.
